New Product/Process Development:

Our QA Layout Inspection group works directly with Program Management and Engineering teams to provide:

Window Study Dimensional Analysis:

A series of separate process windows to identify
the best (least variable) processing condition for
the remainder of the project’s development.
Dimensional and Visual inspection support for each tool adjustment cycle
Full PPAP/FAIR inspection

including statistical analysis and formal documentation for product approval submission.

Production Inspection:

Our production inspection group verifies a product’s ability to function properly in your assembly.

This group uses the following systematic business processes to achieve quality objectives and meet strict internal standards:

Frequent gear function verification- through double flank gear checking with a calibrated master gear in tight mesh
Consistent attention to mounting features- through ID’s, OD’s of hubs and trunions etc.
Verification of all critical-to-function features identified on the drawing throughout the production run
Monitoring of critical features to statistical control limits and specifications
Electronic collection and storage of measurement data for immediate statistical analysis

Maintain traceability information with each inspection event, including: raw material lot no., press no., tool no., inspector ID, date and time, etc.

Fully document and standardize processes for quality verification throughout the manufacturing run
